Amtra Filpro EX External Filter Kit – Complete Hang-On External System with Media & Accessories

The Amtra Filpro EX External Filter Kit is a “plug-and-play” filtration solution designed for smaller aquariums. It’s supplied complete with hoses, fittings and filter media — perfect for hang-on installation or low-water-level tanks such as paludariums or turtle setups. Featured models include EX350 and EX650, supporting aquariums up to approximately 50 L and 80 L respectively.

Key Features:

• Multi-stage filtration: mechanical filter floss, activated carbon sponge for chemical filtration, bio-cartridge for biological filtration.

• Compact and space-saving design; ideal for low-water-level tanks or where footprint must be minimal.

• All required accessories included: inlet and outlet pipes, fittings, media baskets or cartridges, ready to install.

• Suitable for both freshwater and lightly-stocked marine setups; emphasizes ease of use and maintenance.

Usage Tips:

• Hang the unit on the tank rim or position beside the aquarium using the supplied hardware.

• Rinse filter media gently before first use, then prime and begin operation.

• Monitor flow rate: if significantly reduced, inspect and clean mechanical media, rinse bio-cartridge gently.

• Replace chemical media regularly (e.g., activated carbon sponge), check biological media when flow drops.

• Ideal for setups up to ~50–80 litres — larger tanks will require higher capacity filters.
