ARDAP Spot-On Tick and Flea Protection with the active ingredient pyrethrum, also called chrysanthemum, from the chrysanthemum flower is a highly effective agent for external use on ornamental birds and carrier pigeons. Pyrethrum is known for its repellent and thus preventive effect against infestation with insect pests such as ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus) and mites (Ornithonyssus sylvarium, Dermanyssus gallinea).
