OASE BioStyle Aquarium Filter (Hang-On-Back)
Description
Upgrade your aquarium’s filtration performance and ease of maintenance with the OASE BioStyle filter – a compact hang-on-back (HOB) unit featuring three-stage filtration (mechanical → biological → chemical) and adjustable flow control, suitable for both freshwater and marine environments
Key Features:
-
Multi-stage filtration system: Each cartridge includes foam for mechanical/biological filtration, chemical media and a polishing fleece.
-
Quiet, efficient operation and simple maintenance thanks to the disposable cartridge system and cleaning-indicator.
-
Adjustable flow control lever to match aquarium size and reduce turbulence.
-
Sleek, space-saving design ideal for tanks where an internal or canister filter is impractical.
-
Proven build quality with German engineering and Italian assembly.
-
Choose the correct model variant based on your aquarium size (BioStyle 20 for ~20 gal / ~76 L, BioStyle 30 for ~30 gal / ~115 L, BioStyle 50 for ~50 gal / ~190 L).Install the unit on the rim or back-wall of the aquarium; ensure the cartridge is seated correctly and the flow is adjusted to suit your habitat.
-
Monitor the cleaning indicator and replace the cartridge when the indicator shows cleaning is required.
-
For marine tanks, ensure chemical media (cartridges) are compatible with saltwater systems and fit the maintenance schedule.
-
Perform regular partial water changes and maintain general tank hygiene — the filter helps but doesn’t replace good husbandry.
