Hozelock Ecopower Plus 10000 Pond Filter 16W UV

Ensure crystal-clear water and a healthy environment in larger garden ponds with the Hozelock Ecopower+ 10000 Above Ground Filter. Combining multi-stage mechanical and biological filtration with a powerful integrated 16W UV clarifier, this high-performance box filter efficiently eliminates green water algae and purifies organic pollutants in ponds up to 10,000 liters (or 5,000 liters with fish stock).

Water enters the unit through an inlet adapter (fitting 25/32/40mm hose) into the UV chamber, which features a built-in "turbulator" to spin the water for maximum exposure to the 16W UV bulb. As microscopic green algae cells clump together, the water passes through an integrated Venturi aerator that injects vital oxygen into the system. The water then flows through high-surface-area biological media to neutralize toxic ammonia and nitrites before rising through dense foam pads that trap all remaining physical dirt and debris.

Designed with flexible positioning options, the Ecopower+ 10000 can sit above ground near the pond side, at the top of a waterfall, or even partially buried in the ground to blend seamlessly into garden landscaping. A top inspection hatch allows quick visual checks of water flow, and a bottom drain enables simple sludge flushing during maintenance.
