Seachem Flourish Tabs – Substrate Fertilizer Tabs

Seachem Flourish Tabs are highly concentrated, comprehensive root tabs designed to provide sustained fertilization for plants rooted in the aquarium substrate. These tablets contain essential trace elements, vitamins, and amino acids, plus the three primary macronutrients: Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K), along with iron, manganese, and magnesium.

Unlike liquid fertilizers which dose the water column, Flourish Tabs are buried directly into the gravel or soil. This placement allows the nutrients to be released slowly and directly to the plant roots, promoting robust growth where it is needed most. They are ideal for use with inert substrates (like gravel) that lack nutrients, or for supplementing nutrient-depleted aquarium soils.

Key Benefits and Features:

Comprehensive Formula: Contains a full spectrum of micronutrients, trace elements, vitamins, and the macronutrients N, P, and K.

Root Zone Focus: Delivers nutrients directly to the plant roots for strong, sustained growth.

Slow Release: Designed for long-lasting fertilization, typically requiring re-dosing every three to four months.

Ideal for Inert Substrates: Perfect for enriching standard aquarium gravel or sand.

Algae Safe: Will not introduce high levels of nutrients into the water column that could contribute to algae growth.

Safe Formula: Safe for all fish and invertebrates when used as directed.

Dosing Recommendation:

Placement: Insert one Flourish Tab into the gravel or substrate for every 10–15 cm (4–6 inches) radius.

Depth: Tabs should be pressed midway into the gravel bed.

Frequency: Replace tablets every three to four months for continuous fertilization.
