Description

Add one of the most breathtaking visual masterpieces in the exotic hobby to your collection with the Greenbottle Blue Tarantula (Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens), commonly known as the GBB. Native to the arid scrublands of Venezuela, this New World terrestrial/semi-arboreal species is famous for its striking metallic-blue legs, iridescent green carapace, and vibrant orange abdomen.

Beyond its showstopping adult coloration, the Greenbottle Blue is beloved for its incredible heavy web-building behavior. GBBs transform their enclosures into dramatic, architectural silk landscapes, making them one of the absolute best display species available. Pair that with a robust appetite, rapid growth rate, and hardy nature, and you have an ideal specimen for both novice and experienced keepers.
