Description
The Dairy Cow Isopod (Porcellio laevis) is one of the most popular and energetic species in the bioactive hobby. Named for their distinct white bodies and irregular black "cow-like" spotting, these isopods are prized not just for their appearance, but for their incredible work ethic.
They are a large, fast-moving species that acts as a powerhouse "Clean-Up Crew" (CUC). Unlike smaller, more shy species, Dairy Cows are highly active throughout the day and are known for their voracious appetite, making them perfect for large enclosures with high-waste inhabitants like large lizards or frogs.
