NEKTON-Sugar Glider is a special supplementary feed for sugar gliders, rich in vitamins, minerals and 18 amino acids – a composition adapted to the needs of these animals.

Sugar gliders are small marsupials with special nutritional requirements: their diet should consist of about 15-25% animal protein and 75% plant ingredients. A very important component of their diet is various sugars, which results from the very fast metabolism of these animals. In nature, they eat: nectar, pollen, fruit, juices, buds, berries, small insects…
In breeding farms we can give them: various fruits and vegetables (with a small share of citrus fruits), small amounts of cooked egg yolk, wet cat food, soft seeds, sunflower seeds.
Sugar gliders tend to choose one favorite food and ignore the others. It is then difficult to properly balance the animal’s diet. That is why NEKTON, a German manufacturer of vitamin supplements for animals, has created a preparation to make it easier.
Supplementary feed for flying feeders – Sugar gliders, i.e. small short-headed flying baggies, are mostly found in animal parks and zoos. NEKTON-Sugar-Glider was developed in collaboration with these institutions. This supplementary feed contains all the vitamins and minerals required for the healthy development of these groups living animals. Since flying fowlers are very picky when choosing their food and like to develop the preference for a favourite food on one side, an additional dose of NEKTON-Sugar-Glider is absolutely recommended. Thanks to the uncomplicated feeding via the drinking water, a high level of acceptance is guaranteed.
