The Hydor Pico Pro Internal Filter is an ultra-compact, 3-stage filtration solution designed specifically for aquariums up to approximately 45 litres. It offers mechanical sponge filtration, biological ceramic rings and a chemical activated carbon cartridge—all in one small unit.
With a maximum pump flow of 300 L/h, it’s suitable for well-stocked small tanks, shrimp setups or nano displays.
Compact dimensions (6 × 8 × 18 cm) make it unobtrusive inside your tank, and it includes a swivelling outlet nozzle and a venturi kit to increase oxygenation and water circulation.
Designed safely for shrimp and small fish, the Pico Pro includes a protective grid to prevent accidental suction of tiny animals, and its quiet operation makes it ideal for viewing tanks or low-noise environments.

Key Features:

  • 3-stage filtration: mechanical sponge, biological ceramic rings, chemical activated carbon

  • Rated flow: up to 300 L/h — suitable for aquariums up to ~45 L

  • Compact size: 6 × 8 × 18 cm

  • Swivelling outlet and flow adjustment for flexible installation

  • Safe design: anti-suction grid, suitable for shrimp and small fish

  • Quiet, fully submersible, and supplied with suction cups for quick mounting

Usage Tips:

  • Mount inside the tank using suction cups; adjust flow and direction via the swivelling outlet.

  • Rinse sponge and ceramic ring media in tank water during maintenance (not tap water) to protect beneficial bacteria.

  • Replace the activated carbon cartridge when colour or clarity begins to decline.

  • Use in small tanks, nano setups or as secondary filtration in larger systems where space is at a premium.
