The Hydor Filtro Professional 2.0 is a powerful, silent external filter designed for both freshwater and marine aquariums (and even turtle tanks). Key Features:

  • Four filtration stages: mechanical sponge, biological sintered quartz rings, optional chemical media (activated carbon or zeolite), and fine microporous filter floss. Hydor+1

  • Dual self-priming system: both electronic and manual modes for fast start-up and maintenance convenience. Ferplast Official+1

  • Integrated features: a CO₂ diffuser for planted tanks and a housing for an internal heater option for clean tank aesthetics. Hydor+1

Usage Tips:

  • Select the correct model variant based on your aquarium size.

  • Connect hoses and ensure filter sits below tank level for optimal siphon flow.

  • Before first use, rinse sponge and media with aquarium water, install, then fill and prime.

  • Clean mechanical media when debris accumulates; rinse biological media gently in aquarium water and replace chemical media per usage.

  • Make use of the included CO₂ diffuser if you have a planted tank; the beater set-up maintains aesthetics and efficiency.
