Sera Koi Professional 12000 Pond Filter | High-Performance Bio Filter

UV Not Included

Ensure optimal water clarity and biological balance in your garden or koi pond with the Sera Koi Professional 12000 Pond Filter. Engineered using advanced German aquatic technology, this high-performance gravity filter system combines effective mechanical waste separation with highly efficient biological purification designed specifically for sensitive koi and fish ponds.

The filter utilizes a 2-step purification process. Incoming pond water first flows through a fine stainless steel mesh screen (200 µm) that mechanically separates suspended dirt particles, fish waste, and plant debris before they can decay and pollute the biological chamber. The pre-cleaned water then drips through an optimized co-current trickling bio-chamber packed with high-surface-area Sera Siporax Pond filter media, maximizing biological oxygenation and nitrifying bacteria growth to eliminate harmful ammonia and nitrites.

Its clever modular design allows for simple cleaning and easy maintenance. The stainless steel pre-filter screen can be easily lifted out and rinsed, preventing clogging and keeping maintenance effort to a minimum.
